Donate Books
Doing some spring cleaning and want to donate books to the Calgary Book Sale? We want your used books! Book donations are a very important part of what makes this fundraising event a success. No amount is too big, or too small, every book makes a difference. We just ask that you bring them to one of the donation collection locations. Book Donations are accepted starting mid April and can be dropped off at the Crossroads Market. We are excited to announce that this year we will be having a stuff-a-trailer day! If you are unable to make it to Crossroads Market, we will have a trailer conveniently located for donation drop offs on one day during donation collection. Alternatively, if Crossroads is most convenient for you, but you can’t make it during our hours, feel free to leave your book donations in the after hours kiosk just outside the Book Sale Tent doors.

Please drop off your gently used books at the Book Sale tent which is located on the southeast side of the building, facing Blackfoot Trail. One of our volunteers will be happy to assist you with unloading your book donations.

What kind of books can I donate?
We love all books, but we do not accept textbooks or encyclopedias.
I can’t donate books between 10:00am-4:00pm, do you have after hours drop off?
Yes, we do! If you are unable to make it during the day you can put your book donations in the after hours kiosk just outside the Book Sale Tent.
