Our Volunteers
Our volunteers are the heart of our Book Sale. Our dedicated team of 250+ volunteers, many of whom have supported the Calgary Book Sale for many years, coordinate and run collection, sorting and sale of 100,000+ books over 6 weeks. Their experience, expertise, and commitment has allowed the Calgary Book Sale to be a success for the past 20 years.
Become a Volunteer
RESET is seeking enthusiastic, energetic people to join our teams of dedicated volunteers! If you love books, love to organize everything and anything – especially books, are a licensed forklift operator, can stack a pallet, operate a pallet jack, use a broom, string signs, OR charm customers, AND play well with others, this may be the opportunity for you. Volunteers can work with one – or more – of the teams who have made the book sale a success since 2003!

Organizing Team
RESET is seeking applicants to join the Calgary Book Sale Organizing Team. These positions will work with other team members to recruit, train and guide volunteers to prepare the site, sort and pack books during collection, stock for each sale day, and oversee clean up and packing at the end of the sale. This event takes place over 6 weeks (April-May) and requires a commitment of four days a week including some weekends.
